Joy of Cleaning was founded in 2016. Based in St. Petersburg, we pride ourselves on the personal touch we're able to add to residential cleaning service as a locally based and focused business. Our business was built and has grown on referrals and that's because our work speaks for itself. Our professional, detail-oriented, friendly team cares for your home as if it were their own. We offer 3 basic levels of service dependent upon your needs. We can take care of an overall maintenance-style clean of your entire home at a cadence of your choice; dive in for a deep cleaning and cover every nook and cranny from floor to ceiling when things feel like they've gotten a little out of control; and also cover you for move in/move out service to restore your home to that crystal clean, never lived in feeling. Collectively our team speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese so we're happy for the opportunity to serve a diverse clientele with the added comfort of communication. Joy of Cleaning was purchased by husband and wife entrepreneur team Donny and Jackie Minchillo in 2019 after the couple had been using the service in their personal home for a year; they knew the company was special and saw potential to invest in their local community and continue to build a fantastic team of dedicated professionals who bring the joy of a clean home to all of their clients.

Donny is originally from Brazil and has taken the concept of the American Dream to a whole new level since his family moved to the United States when he was 16 years old. With a passion for business and taking a good thing and growing it, he believes in Joy of Cleaning and it’s limitless potential with the right team in place. He brings a unique perspective to the table leading this business, because he saw first hand the unique relationship that is built between cleaning professionals and their clients through the eyes of his own Mom, who cleaned homes for many years when they moved to the United States.

Owner and Business Strategist
With a background in publicity and journalism, Jackie has brought her creativity and knack for communication to the businesses she and Donny now own and operate together. She’s passionate about creating value, and consistently bringing new ideas to the table to keep Joy of Cleaning fresh, innovative and ahead of the curve. A people person at her core, Jackie loves local business and finding different ways not only to foster great employee and client relationships, but get involved with the community at large.
